We are committed to give our best both for you and for your animal companion.
Our center is among the few in Europe with board-certified specialists in medical oncology, radiation therapy, radiology, and medical physics. We are particularly proud to be the only clinic in Switzerland with two diplomates in medical oncology. In addition, we are the only accredited training center in Switzerland—and one of the very few in Europe—offering a certified residency program in medical oncology. With this, we actively counter the shortage of qualified professionals and are currently training two young veterinarians.
Our highly specialized team provides comprehensive therapies for animals diagnosed with cancer. We cover the full range of treatment options, placing a strong emphasis on first-class diagnostics to ensure accurate diagnosis. Based on this, we can offer a fully individualized treatment plan, tailored to each patient, and drawing on all relevant areas of oncology. We employ both proven standard therapies—such as chemotherapy and radiotherapy—as well as innovative and novel medications. We are one of the very few clinics in Europe to offer treatments such as Palladia, the Oncept melanoma vaccine, and Tanovea-CA1.
We are actively engaged in clinical research projects and provide our patients with the opportunity to participate in clinical trials exploring new therapeutic methods. Currently, we are conducting a study for dogs with multicentric lymphoma.
By using a linear accelerator, we are able to target tumors with exceptional precision while sparing the surrounding healthy tissue. This advanced IMRT technique ensures maximum effectiveness with minimal side effects.
Dogs, cats, and other companion animals are now much more than just pets – they are family members. That’s why, in the event of illness, they should of course receive the best possible care, which, however, can also lead to high costs. With a pet health insurance plan, veterinary costs for surgeries or the treatment of illnesses can be covered.
Can I insure my dog?
Yes! Perhaps you already know people who have taken out pet health insurance for their dog or cat. More and more pet owners in Switzerland are choosing this kind of coverage: it allows them to enjoy time with their four-legged friends with peace of mind, knowing their animals are optimally cared for in difficult situations.
By the way: Pet health insurance is now also available for rabbits!
