This privacy policy is designed to comply with the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG), and the revised Swiss Data Protection Act (revDSG) of 1 September 2023. Principle concerning personal data of third parties: If you provide us with personal data of other individuals (e.g., family members, colleagues), please ensure that these individuals are aware of this privacy policy, and only share their data with us if you are permitted to do so and the data is accurate.

Where permitted, we may also obtain data from publicly accessible sources (e.g., debt collection registers, land registers, commercial registers, press, internet), or receive such data from other companies, authorities, or third parties.

In addition to the data you provide directly, categories of personal data that we may receive about you from third parties include:

We also process data in connection with the procurement of products and services from our suppliers. If you work for such a customer or business partner, your personal data may also be processed in this context.

In addition, we process personal data for the following purposes:

  • Offering and further developing our services, websites, apps, and other platforms

  • Communication with third parties and handling their inquiries

  • Reviewing and improving processes for demand analysis and direct customer approach, including acquisition of customer data from publicly accessible sources

Where you have consented to the processing of your personal data for specific purposes by providing your data, we will process it within the scope of our business relationship. Consent may be withdrawn at any time, but this does not affect data processing already carried out.

4. Cookies / Tracking and Other Technologies in Connection with the Use of Our Website #

We typically use “cookies” and similar techniques on our websites to identify your browser or device. A cookie is a small file that is sent to your computer or automatically stored on your computer or mobile device by your web browser when you visit our websites. In addition to session cookies that are deleted after your visit, cookies may also be used to store user settings and other information over a certain period. You can configure your browser to reject cookies, accept them only for one session, or delete them early. Most browsers are preset to accept cookies.

By using our websites and consenting to receive newsletters and other marketing emails, you agree to the use of these techniques. If you do not wish this, you must configure your browser or email program accordingly.

We also use plug-ins from social networks such as Facebook, X, YouTube, Pinterest, or Instagram. These elements are configured to be disabled by default. If you activate them by clicking, the operators of the respective social networks can register that you are on our website and use this information for their own purposes. The processing of your personal data is then the responsibility of the respective operator in accordance with their privacy policy. We do not receive any information about you from them.

5. Duration of Storage of Personal Data #

We process and store your personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfill our contractual and legal obligations, or for as long as it is required for the purposes for which it was collected. Once your personal data is no longer needed for the above purposes, it will be deleted or anonymized wherever possible.

6. Data Security #

We take appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access and misuse.

7. Rights of the Data Subject #

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, and obtain certain personal data for transfer to another entity. Please note that we reserve the right to assert the statutory restrictions, for example if we are obliged to retain or process certain data. If costs are incurred for you, we will inform you in advance. We reserve the right to withhold data if you still have outstanding invoices with us.

Exercising your rights generally requires that you can clearly prove your identity. To assert your rights, you can contact us at the address indicated in Section 1.

8. Changes #

We may amend this privacy policy at any time without prior notice. The current version published on our website applies. Where the privacy policy forms part of an agreement with you, we will inform you of updates by email or other appropriate means.
